Ollie’s R32 Skyline Livery – 8 Hours, One Good Boi, and a Pizza Break
After an early start at the MLVW show, we packed up and headed straight for my friend Ollie’s place. He’s one of those lads who’s properly deep into the drift scene and I’ve been fortunate to work with him on a number of cars hes owned over the years. The plan? Apply a brand-new full livery to his R32 Skyline before his next round in the Irish Drift Series.
The wrap took eight hours. In the middle of that May heat, we were sweating like mad, but the vibes were solid – Ollie’s dad was around giving us moral support, Benny the Golden Retriever kept spirits high, and Nathan helped shoot all the behind-the-scenes stuff for this video.
There’s something about doing car stuff with your mates that just hits different. Halfway through we had to stop for pizza – a proper lifesaver. But the grind didn’t stop. Panel by panel, the car started to transform, and by the time golden hour came around, we were wrapping up both the livery and the shoot.
The last few shots of the day caught the car glowing under this amazing sunset – honestly couldn’t have timed it better. The finished product looked like something straight out of a Tokyo street race.
Whether you're into JDM cars, drifting, or just love watching cool cars get cooler, this one’s for you.
